Luke: Listen to Him (9:28-36)

On the side of a mountain Jesus’ disciples see his radiating glory made manifest and they hear the most crucial command of the Christian life: listen to Jesus. But why should we listen to Jesus? Luke understands that we listen to Jesus because of the work that he has accomplished, because of our confusion, and because of Jesus’ unique person.
