What happens when God’s promises seem delayed or impossible, and we are tempted to take matters into our own hands? In Genesis 16, Sarai, Abram, and Hagar show us how quickly impatience and self-reliance can lead us away from trusting God. Yet in Christ, we see the opposite response: humble obedience, surrender, and trust in the Father’s will. Like them, we are challenged to remember that God is God, and we are not—calling us to trust His timing, follow His ways, and love others even when obedience is difficult. Speaker: Cn. Howard Edwards
